About

About The Debt Dispatch

The Debt Dispatch is an independent editorial publication covering the U.S. consumer debt-relief landscape — settlement, consolidation, personal lending and bankruptcy.

Our mission

Consumer debt relief is a lightly regulated market where the loudest voices are usually paid advertisers. We exist to publish plain-English reporting, primary-source reviews, and calculators that help borrowers make defensible decisions without being funneled toward a single product.

Who publishes this

The Debt Dispatch is published by Metrix Holdings, LLC dba The Debt Dispatch, headquartered at 817 West Peachtree St, Atlanta, GA 30308. Editorial questions, tips, and corrections requests can be sent to editor@thedebtdispatch.com. See our full contact page for other channels.

Editorial independence

No advertiser, affiliate partner, or sponsor has any role in what we cover, how we cover it, or which companies receive favorable ratings in our reviews. Our full standards are documented on the Editorial Standards page and every change is logged on the public Corrections feed.

How we're funded

The Debt Dispatch is supported by two revenue streams, both clearly labeled on-page:

  • Affiliate referrals. Some of the debt-relief companies we list may pay us a referral fee when a reader connects with them through our comparison tables. Referral fees never influence our editorial ratings, and companies cannot pay to be included, removed, or ranked higher.
  • Display advertising. We serve display ads through Google AdSense. Ads are labeled and are not selected by our editorial team.

Full details on data collection, cookies, and advertising partners live in our Privacy Policy.

How we report

Our contributors — profiled on the Contributors page — bring backgrounds in consumer finance journalism, credit counseling, and law. Every review is based on primary-source review of contracts, disclosures, state licensing databases, CFPB complaint data, and interviews with the companies themselves where possible.

Not advice

Nothing published on The Debt Dispatch is legal, tax, or financial advice. Debt relief decisions are individual — consult a licensed professional in your state before acting.
