Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Metrix Holdings, LLC dba The Debt Dispatch ("The Debt Dispatch," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit thedebtdispatch.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Information you give us. If you email us, fill in a calculator, or submit a qualification form, we receive the information you provide (name, email, balance ranges, ZIP, free-text notes).
- Information collected automatically. Server and analytics logs record your IP address, user agent, referring URL, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We and our partners set cookies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. See "Cookies and advertising" below.
2. How we use information
- To operate and secure the Site and its calculators.
- To measure audience and improve editorial coverage.
- To match qualified readers with debt-relief providers when they explicitly submit a qualification form.
- To respond to correspondence, corrections, and privacy requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Cookies and advertising
The Site displays advertising served by Google AdSense and may use Google's DoubleClick DART cookie. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by Google by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You may opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu (EEA).
- Readers in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent banner on first visit; non-essential cookies (advertising, analytics profiling) are not set until consent is given.
4. Analytics
We use privacy-respecting server-side analytics to measure aggregate audience. If additional analytics tools are enabled in the future (for example Google Analytics 4), they will be disclosed here before being deployed.
5. Affiliate relationships
Comparison tables and "Sponsored — Debt Relief Offers" blocks contain links to third-party debt-relief companies and lender networks. We may earn a referral fee when a reader connects with a partner through those links. Referral fees do not influence editorial ratings. See our Editorial Standards for the full policy.
6. How we share information
- Service providers that host, secure, or send email on our behalf, under contract.
- Advertising partners (Google AdSense and its vendors) as described above.
- Debt-relief providers, only when you submit a qualification form and consent to the introduction.
- Legal — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA) and GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise these rights, email privacy@thedebtdispatch.com. We will verify and respond within the statutory window.
8. Data retention
We retain qualification-form submissions for up to 24 months and server logs for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law. Editorial correspondence is retained as long as reasonably necessary to maintain the public record.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us to request deletion if you believe a child has submitted data.
10. International readers
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
12. Contact
